First block came into the gym in the beginning of class.  We did a light warm-up and went right into our activity, which was called line ball.  It is a variation of a volleyball game, with basically the same roles, yet they use an exercise ball instead of a volleyball.  I believe I had every student participating, which was great to see.  After the gym, the students had a test on the benefits of health.  If the students were done, they would work on a word search until the class was completed.  Second block played the line volleyball game the entire period.  My planning period today was used efficiently to plan tomorrow’s lessons.  My fourth block walked in and started on their bell-ringer activity immediately.  We spoke about the bell-ringers and then they were given a pre-test on identifying traffic signs.  Afterwards, we went over the answers and I taught about the meanings of the colors in traffic signs.

Reflection:
All classes were well-behaved.  My fourth block class had a few students that were a little talkative but not enough to disrupt the class.  I had one student that laid his head down on his desk the entire period.  I let him do it but spoke with him afterwards.  I told him that was the last time he would be allowed to do that.  If he decided to lay his head down again, he would be reprimanded.  He seemed to react well to the talk, so we will see if he actually listens.
