Summary of Today’s Activities
In
all of the Physical education classes we played a game called Ultimate
Basketball. The class was separated into
two teams. The main rule in the game is
the ball cannot hit the ground. If it
does hit the ground, the opposing team will receive the ball. They have three seconds to make a decision
with the ball. The team has to pass the
ball 3 consecutive times in order to attempt a shot at goal. First block had a re-take of the bones quiz
and we then discussed problems that are associated with the skeletal
system. In fourth block, we discussed
the dashboard signs in a car and getting to know their vehicle.
Reflection
In
fourth block, we practiced a code red procedure. My host teacher warned me before so I had a
chance to determine what my actions were supposed to be beforehand. The students really enjoyed the Ultimate
Basketball game and I will definitely be using that game in the future. My first block class definitely studied for
their re-take, because the grades were supremely higher than the first attempt. I was very happy to see that the students
studied. They have another quiz on
Thursday and I think and I hope that they see that they must study in order to
do well in my class.
