Summary of Today’s Activities
The students in my first block health class had a survey to complete; therefore we started in the classroom.  Pittsylvania County sent someone to go around to every 9th grade class and administer a survey.  After the survey, I gave the students a worksheet to help review with the skeletal system material.  They were allowed to work with a partner.  In second block, I explained to them about an upcoming project that they would have to work with a partner.  They chose their partner and then we went into the weight room to lift and work on their form on certain lifts.  In fourth block Drivers Education class, we reviewed for the dashboard signs quiz that we were having tomorrow.
Reflection

The first block survey through my class and I through a loop, especially when we were informed that morning that someone would be coming into our classrooms for about 30 minutes.  We got through it and I feel like I handled it pretty well.  I have noticed during my time as a student teacher that you must learn to adapt to several situations throughout the day.  I believe it is one characteristic that separates the ineffective teachers to the effective teachers.
